This page explains what information Meditative Leaf ("we," "us") collects when you visit meditativeleaf.com or place an order, and what we do with it. If you have questions, email us at info@meditativeleaf.com.

What we collect

If you sign up for our newsletter: just your email address, so we can let you know when a new tea is released. That's the only reason we ask for it.

If you place an order: checkout happens entirely on Stripe's own site, not ours. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that. Depending on what you enter at checkout, Stripe shares with us what's needed to fulfill your order: your name, email, shipping address, and order details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.

Just browsing the site: we don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't use cookies to follow you around. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which — like any font or image loaded from another server — may log your IP address as part of delivering the font files. That's Google's standard behavior for any site using their fonts, not something we've added on top of it.

How we use it

To prepare, ship, and follow up on your order
To respond if you email us
To send the occasional new-tea announcement, only to people who signed up for it

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build profiles on visitors.

Who we share it with

Only the vendors that have to be involved to get your tea to you: Stripe (payment processing) and whichever shipping carrier we use to send your order. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.

This site currently sends newsletter emails by manually exporting the subscriber list — it isn't run through a bulk-mail platform yet. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the tool and link to its own privacy practices.

How long we keep it

Newsletter emails are kept until you ask us to remove them. Order information is kept as long as needed for our own recordkeeping (returns, taxes, customer service) and then deleted or anonymized.

Your choices

Email info@meditativeleaf.com any time to: unsubscribe from the newsletter, ask what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it. We'll handle these requests personally, since this is a small operation — expect a real reply, not an automated one.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
